Dear Vladimir, I entered the US using a reentry permit after being in Russia for 18 mo. I was surprised but officer took my reentry permit and left it on his desk saying that I will need it no more. I thought that I will keep it. My question is- For how long I will be able to stay in Russia and keep my Green Card if I will decide to go back there? Can I stay there for less than a year and keep my status as a PR or I already lost this privilege because I was out of US for 18 mo before using my reentry permit? Thank you |
