Visitors of Eglador differs from each other, but all of them are great storytellers and a great friends to spend free time with.It seem's it's the only place in Arda, where orcs and elfs getting on together, and dwarfs chat and drink beer with trolls.The only thing break the calm of Eglador - a part of dark forces called Police. Yep,these keepers of order visit the party time by time, fortunately, everething goes fine (excluding some incedents). Anyway, it's a long story. And now detailed description.... Read and get fun!

1. Who? What? Why?

Eglador is visited by different folks. It's common visitors are students, but pupils and mature persons also visit Eglador. Adults in Eglador are not those adults with ties and cases. So what is united all thoses different people?Tolkienism! What for do tolkienists are gathering in Eglador? Meetings with friends and adherents are at the first place, then goes fighting on swords, axes and other weapons. By the way - all the arms in Eglador are NOT real.
Majority of visitors just want to leave the noisy world. Eglador is a place where you can forget all your problems and relax. Relaxation via alcahol and drugs is strictly prohibited!

2. Warriors

Community (Eglador is a community, indeed) splits in two groups - folks with the arms and without arms. There's no difined border, warrior do not differ from 'peaceful setller', till he nake his sword and join the battle. Warriors visit Eglador to fight with somebody and only after it - to deal with something else.

3. Appearance.

Visitors of Eglador correspond the atmosphere of Eglador by 100%. The most popular things are T-shirt with logos of the favorite bands, cloaks and other *magic* stuff.

4. "The Wall"

'Wall' is a main fighting competition in Eglador - a battle which majority of fighters takes part in. All the fighters split into two groups and line up opposite each other. Then go some War Cries and the battle starts. Sometimes final of the battle depends on the agressiveness and determiness of the participants and it makes the competition more attractive for common visitors. Anyway, tolkienists deal fine with their arms. The battle lasts till the majority of warriors get tired, it goes on for 3 or more hours a day.

5. Police

Ugm. It's the only force that breaks the harmony of the Forgotten Land.Egladorians get used to police visits, but sometimes that 'order keepers' acts as the orcs from Mordor!There were times,when they closed the etrance to Eglador for two weeks motivating it with 'the dangerous activity of tolkienists' and all the Egladorians had tofind another place for meetings... Fortunately, that story has a happy end. Some folks guess that policeis a great thing which just prevents 'mass vodka parties', but policemen also conduct a search and they try to show that evereone should be afraid of them.

6. Races and names

You can find almost all 'fantasy' races known by humankind : from elfs to orcs, from dwarfs to dragons.There're also a great amount of races you can find only in Eglador like Glucks and children of the darkness.Main races are Dwarfs (me), Elfs (they're everewhere!), Humans (hehe) and Orcs (they're great in number!).

The majority of names are taken from fantasy books such and Lord Of The Ring and Silmarillion though there're exceptions (like 'Ole-Lukoe','Znamenie','Storm','Izvrat-Izvratych' etc...). Gorlums are more then one :) We also have our own Tolkien.

7. About this page

As I already said - this page is just a mirror of a real Eglador, moreover, it's UnOfficial. I don't want to be responsoble for everething that is written over here, it's just MY OWN view. Anyway, I hope you liked this page.
